About the event

Joint Event between FBCCC and Bahai Community under the overarching Theme: “Uniting in Gratitude for Blessings, Talents, and Food” at Eastside Baha’i Center on November 9, 2024, 4-6 pm

 

With overall coordination of Dr. Larissa Chuprina,  as Executive Director/Event Organizer, ESL and Culture Coach LLC ESLandCultureCoach@gmail.com  425 327 6872), commissioned by the Board of FBCCC, committed to bringing people of all cultures together through common goals, values, and shared values across diverse cultures, languages, genders, and Human Race. 

3:30 pm- Doors open.  Background Music, Cornucopia/Board by TBUG, Gratitude Tree. Guest book. (Lobby) Greeters/ushers- volunteers—the youth group


Part 1. 4:OO pm-4:15: MC:  Introduction to the event: Title and Goal (2 min): Unity in Diversity/Graitude; Agenda: Concert 4-5, Food 5-6 pm

FBCCC----Mason Ji, Board Member of FBCCC, mission and vision for the event (5 min) + presenting Cross-Cultural Amity Project, with Leader  Sneha Aeron  (snehaeron@gmail.com) – 1min –Mission

Ted Lucas: Bahai vision for Unity and building communities; Examples of Issaquah Community Building (5 min)

Prayer for America/Unity/Humanity  MC Ted Lucas/Denis Saedi (Baha’i)


Part 2: Performance with a message for Unity with Gratitude, presenting by MC

1.      Spirited Songs for Unity, Gratitude, and Joy by Rich Hinrichsen (2-4 songs between speakers)—interactive, sing along with movements (15 min) 

2.      MC: acknowledgement of the contributors of Cornucopia and refreshments/coffee with stories of creating community through food:

a.       by T-BUG (5 min) b. Belden Caffe (5 min)

3.      Hispanic Dance Group from, Hispanic Ministries, Overlake Christian Church (15 min) – can Alternate with speakers/presenters (2 and 1 dances)

4.      Native American Prayer --- reading by  the members of Youth group CCAP with images and verses for the audience to read and repeat the refrain together “We are One in mind” (5 min), Invitation to create Gratitude leaves (led by the youth group Cross-Cultural Amity Project) for the tree in the lobby and to enjoy cornucopia and meet its creators from TBUG (Board with more information).  5-10 min in the lobby


Part 3.  5:15-6:00 pm:   Dining area:  Food, Tea, Connection. Leave contact information in the book for future events.
