About the event

Our monthly gatherings are open to all cultural organizations to get acquainted and learn from each other while we look to building support for the future Bellevue Cross Cultural Center.

In celebration of the Lunar New Year, let’s talk about The Elements of Chinese Painting.

Painting in the traditional style is known today in Chinese as guó huà (Simplified Chinese: 国画; Traditional Chinese: 國畫), meaning "national painting" or "native painting", as opposed to Western styles of art, which became popular in China in the 20th century.

There are four major categories in Chinese painting, two main techniques and just four items in supplies. Come and find out more in a get-acquainted setting with light refreshments!

We look forward to seeing you!
